I’ll take the risk of an 87 yard TD over that of a pitch fumble, tbh
Yes, despite the Miami Miracle

Actually wouldn’t even need to pitch.

Stand him next to Brady snap, hand off....run 10 yards backwards.

Game Over

Of course we have been spoiled by great offenses led by Brady over all these years. But I gotta tell you winning games via a dominant defense does also feel great. Shades of 2004/2005. Back to the roots.

I went back and re-watched that final throw by Brady. I hand-timed it, starting with the snap and then stopping it the millisecond that the ball hit that marine's hands. It took 5.44 seconds. The clock operator screwed up. They stopped the clock when the ball left the field of play, not when it hit something out of bounds like they're supposed to.

The better offensive line player with Wynn back is giving me hope that the offense finds a rhythm as long as we can get some health luck, and Sanu/Dorsett aren't out/down long. The D & special teams are obviously legit so even a decent offense turns the Pats into a juggernaut again. Hell, we're 10-1 and the offense hasn't look even ok in weeks...
