I'll admit, that first year I was about done with him, even though he made a solid overall contribution for a team in dire need of defensive depth.
But the second season, dude really did take it up a notch. He wasn't just blindly flinging it down the ice (at least not nearly as much), he was actually skating it up the ice and gaining the blue line in a lot of instances. And he also took on a huge amount of PK time.
The dogpile in game 82 against the Blues in 2018 is the first thing I think of whenever his name comes up.
