He's the most honest and decent person I've come across in sports in a long time.
He's the anti-disgruntled employee. There should be an award named after him. Every human resources textbook should have a Berglund chapter.I can no longer distinguish between what is or is not serious in your posts.

I thought this was for user @PatrikBerglund
Hey everyone, tell me again that story about how Berglund “retired” because he was having some kind of personal mental health crisis, and not at all because he just hated being in Buffalo and wanted to find a way to go play for a different team.
That was a good story.
He's had mental health issues, that is not made up. Did being forced out of his only NHL team and ending up in Buffalo worsen them?
Without a doubt.
It is somewhat remarkable though that these mental health issues only seem to prevent players (Berglund, Lehner, etc) from playing well and being successful in Buffalo. But not in other cities.
What kind of compensation do the Sabres get if he comes back to the NHL?
Did he ever actually retire? Or did he just say he was stepping away from his contract with Buffalo to find the right situation for himself?Hey everyone, tell me again that story about how Berglund “retired” because he was having some kind of personal mental health crisis, and not at all because he just hated being in Buffalo and wanted to find a way to go play for a different team.
