I don't get the Farrish hate. I find it nearly impossible to evaluate the job he's done given the crap he has to work with.

Crap or not, it should at least show some improvement. A turd may be a turd but a turd in a punch bowl will at least taste a bit like fruit.

I'd rather they just replace the turd with punch.

Last years blueline was probably the best one we've had since Blake was on the team.

I'm not really sure that's true, but even if it was, that just illustrates their lack of real improvement.

That's relatively common among a lot of top teams though. In and of itself, it's not that bad if you have good defenseman that can do other things. It's the defenseman the Avs have that's the problem IMO, not what Farrish has done.

Good coaches scheme around their players. Round hole, square peg, yada yada yada.
