Should never be an every night player but still better than a few of the guys we kept instead namely Howden.

I would have said no big deal losing him if they changed the philosophy and moved away from a heavy no talent fourth line. He's going to be missed though, he feels like a Nosek replacement and agree if Howden sucks they will regret leaving him exposed. They could have exposed Carrier, no team is stupid enough to take him on and his contract which pays him almost double what similar role players get in the NHL if they can even crack the lineup.
