Lol @ the excuses for Akeson. If it was one of the whipping boys it would be a field day.

The main board's gonna have a field day with this. Can't say I'll blame them.

Team looks absolutely demoralized on the bench.

Pathetic effort tonight. Just disgusting.

It really was. They had ONE good shift all night...and that was the shift they scored on. Hartnell's hit/pass was exactly the way they needed to play all game.

Why can't they win in MSG? Because the let the Rangers control the play. The Rangers sit back and wait for you to make a mistake...which is exactly what happened this game.

Giroux was pathetic tonight.

I mean akeson is having a good game but like it or not that penalty sealed the deal. We can argue about if they deserved to be in or not but they were and that penalty cost us the game

He didn't. He took a two minute penalty that the nhl assess some stupid ****ing distinction to and double it.

Board someone from behind, two minutes. High stick, four.

Because swinging your stick up high like a ********* lumberjack is safe? Akeson is indeed a convenient fall guy, but when you make a literal rookie mistake (not controlling your stick on a hit) in a tie game halfway through the third period, you book your own ticket out of town.

This Flyers team just won't generate enough offense in the series.
Their defense is always under pressure which is why they don't get the stretch passes going and we all know that they suck at the transition game...

This game isn't all on Akeson but lets not deflect blame either.

He knows the rules and it applies to everyone. He got way too careless with his hit and his stick and that's what happened. The Rangers also scored on both minors so one or two penalties we'd still be down.

Giroux will end this game sub 20 mins played.

Coburn and Kimmo will likely be the least played pair.

Grossmann is ~10 seconds off leading the team in ice time.

They would likely lose anyway... but those numbers look awful
