Parking on the curb?

I'll be at the 'Canes/Sharks game on Sunday and I'm wondering if you can still park for free on the curb on Edwards Mill. I used to do it all the time, but it's been years since I've actually parked my own car for a 'Canes game and I'm wondering if this is still allowed, or if there's free parking elsewhere or not.

Thanks!

Just park at the office building at Westchase and Blue Ridge. It's about a 10 min casual walk to the arena - perfect for a road beer.

There's some office space up by Cardinal Gibbons that I use somewhat frequently for that purpose. They even have a walkway set up underneath Edwards Mill to take you to the arena parking lot.

High of 50 and 50% chance of rain on Sunday.... I think I'd drop the $15 to park close.

I didn't even know that was possible for hockey games, only time I saw it was NC State/Florida State in 2002 and figured that was just a one time thing.

I can't say for sure, but I haven't seen people park on the curb and it seems like something that would be ticketed.

As others have said, the nearby office space offers the best free parking.

Come on now......that is shorts weather up in Canada. Save the $15 for beer at game.

the 50% chance of rain is the part that is bad about that

i went to opening night and after the game it was pouring and i had to walk all the way to the office complex and i think my clothes are still soaked from that and it was over a month ago

Yeah, that was an absolutely miserable night to have to walk.

Shut up guys, now they're going to find a way to start charging for that too. :sarcasm:
