Taking calls? I'd expect they'd need to be making calls, since he's an atrocious hockey player and no one should want him.

NJ is capped out at the moment, FLA would have to take salary back. Plus he's not going to have a regular spot over Hamilton/Marino/Severson, I can't see them giving up anything significant for a depth guy.

Sounds good in theory though.

I hate every bit of moving on from Gudas. Didn’t think I’d say that when we signed him, he’s been very solid and fun to watch.
As a habs fan whose watched a lot of Florida Hockey this year, Gudas is a great player and I think if he's traded it'll have a knock on effect for the panthers and they'll slip until the end of season. Gudas' physical style pulls the panthers into games when they are falling apart

Unless Gudas is in cahoots with management and plans on coming back after being a rental, I hope he stays put. He’s clearly turned in his career from a problem player to the type of player you absolutely want on your team.
