Mtl had 11 straight OT wins in the 1993 playoffs alone.

Then they won their lone OT game in 1994.

Same for 1996 (1995 misssed the playoffs)

1997 they won in 3OT vs Devils. Only OT game.

One more OT win in 1998 vs Pittsburgh before Buffalo ended the streak in the 2nd round.

So that's 15 straight.

That's a pretty insane stat. The definition of clutch.

Panthers seem to rise to occasion and play their best hockey in big moments.

I said it last night, Florida is going back to the cup final. They're continuing where they left off last year and this years roster is much improved from last years. There is no team in the East on their level top to bottom. Bob is the difference and just wait until Tkachuk gets going.

The Panthers have won 11 straight playoff OT games. That's just mind boggling to me. Anyone know what the record is?

On the flip side Tampa has lost their last 6 playoff OT games and 10 of their last 11, yet somehow hoisted the cup twice within that period.

Yes this is a jinx thread.

Habs did 10 in one Cup run. 93 Champs.

Sure but someone pinned the OT problems on Vasi. A goalie can only do so much in that type of situation.
Well Vassy was junk in last years play offs. Overtimes included.
