While neither of the goals were really his fault, Grubs hasn't looked that strong this season. Got shelled in Phili, has let 2 in and got beat with the shot off the post. Just not seeing the Grubs from last year.
While it's a very small sample size, hard to counter your comment.
Moreover is Holtby looking as good as he has in the past?

This is a strange assessment of their skillset. They both have good hands and they can weave through traffic. You make it sound like they have Chimera's stone hands.
Really? I see them lose pucks left and right. Stickhandling, passing...Far contrast from MJ.

THis is a purposeless team right now. If they keep this up heads will roll.

Fixing the D won’t bring us to the promised land. Have you noticed we aren’t scoring many goals? As long as Trotz is at the helm it’s all moot.

The D is at the root of this issue. They keep us pinned into our own end and they're not good at giving crisp outlet passes. It doesn't matter if you have the best forwards in the world, if your D can't get the puck up to them, they won't do anything.

Bowey's not going to get a better chance to bury one than that. He had space and the whole top of the net. Just missed it.
