Palace Grill caught fire tonight. Be interesting to see how bad the damage is and whether they will re-open. If they do, hope the Hawks org helps them out, even if only by replacing some of the damaged memorabilia.

Palace is an institution for Hawks fans, love it or not, so spun this into its own topic. Know more than a few folks that make it a staple of their Hawks games, although I've only been there once.



Hope the Hawks do something for those guys.

Thankfully seemingly nobody hurt.

I've never been there, but heard it was a good greasy spoon. At first, I thought it was the White Palace Grill on Canal near Roosevelt....that place is an AWESOME greasy spoon.....grits baby!

yea and when I was leaving a hockey game at Johnny's the last thing I wanted to do was put those calories right back into me. years later and I'm still too fat so I probably should've just accepted my fate and spent more time at the Palace.
