Bergevin is a former client of Brisson and a pretty close friend. Notice how many players the Habs possess or are in talk with that have Brisson as agent.

it's unhealthy. Pacioretty doing the right thing getting rid of someone who is supposed to defend his interest but is probably too biased to do so.

You also have to wonder who is leaking all that info about current trade talks. And this is also the best way for Pacioretty to leave the Habs. It seems obvious at this point he doesn't want to play here anymore.

Without Brisson, any hope of shafting him again on his next deal is gone.
