Doesn't fix our expansion problem. We still lose one of dumba, brodin, or spurgeon. Same spot as without the trade. It's not a bad offer but I'd pass

We have enough middle of the line talent, it would be completely backward thinking to trade our best goal scorer for more middle line forward talent and a solid 3-4 D. I understand how this would be a good trade, but the team is clesrly going cup or bust and i dont believe this would provide the immediate impact needed

MaxPac is also LW, which is the only position where we actually have players. This leaves wild with ZERO top6 right wingers...

Coyle cant be moved, we won't have a full roster without him. Alternatively ship a top6 RW to wild on 2-3 year contract.

Nope. Minnesota has no interest in getting a LW when they already have Parise. This offer was made by a MTL fan. Patches is a luxury not worth pursuing from a MN perspective.
