There's only 1 all-star this year on this team. And it's Price. They should have named him even if he didn't play. Deserve it more than Subban. Though it's Subban type of game...the flashy type....Don't make him do the slapshot event though...he won't touch the net.

I'd put Subban in the all-star category easy, even tho he has a bad year.

I think Gallagher could've been invited.
Then again... It's usually not the skillset you want to see at the ASG.

Great. Yet another distraction for PK to focus on, instead of trying to fix his pathetic play. He should decline and spend the weekend with the team, trying to remember why they play this game to begin with.

imho; They should dump the stupid All-Star Game and just have a weekend of skills competitions. They're more fun to watch and you can see the players enjoy them as well.

Subban is invited, but by the players association, and not for his play of late. It's for getting that $9M per year contract for seven years.

At the rate he is going, that is some expensive goal. Although, if using total points, 27 points at the season mid point equates to ($4,500,000/27=) $166,667 per point. Nice job if you can get one.

Meanwhile Desharnais has 21 points and his cost is ($1,750,000/21=) $83,333 per point. Obviously the better business choice.

DD is not a better "business decision" Geez

If subban had the same assists but with 5 more goals no one would be saying anything he's obviously snake bitten when it comes to scoring since he's shooting at less than 1% it's unsustainable and people who go overboard bashing subban as if his contract isn't justified don't just look foolish you look dumb.

Is he underperforming? Yes. Is it as bad as everyone is making it seem? Nah
