Taking a page from both Bra Wavers and Hockey Pops on here for the Owen Sound Attack prospects thread for Owen Sound fans to see all coming and previous prospects as of the 2017 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection.

Above are the last 3 draft that Owen Sound has had since 2017. This prospect page includes draft pick rounds, picks and acquisition knowledge along with player statistics from the year the players were drafted.
This list doesn’t include previously signed player prior to the 2018 priority selection. As like both Bra Wavers and Hockey Pops threads, I’ll be updating the prospects page prior to each Priority Selection, Under-18 and Import Draft Selection processes. In addition will have the draft rounds and picks along with acquisition information within the draft tables.

** This prospects page does not include Free Agent Invites now, but will be added as soon as training camp starts each season, If I am missing any prospects for Owen Sound please PM me and will add them to the list of prospects**

I suggest editing your table to make it easier to read. If you use the last editing tool in the toolbar (the piece of paper with the wrench) it allows you to edit the table data TD and table row TR tags. I think you could fit your table without any scroll bars with a bit of work.

I threw it together in very short order I didn't get a chance to tweak the table to be completely accurate. Once the training camp starts I'll go back a tweak the table.

With training camp starting in about 2 weeks time, I'll be updating this page during training camp sessions for 2019's camp rookie and main camp days.

Is there a way you can tell us readers what team and league these players are coming from?
Then we can understand if they had a good season or a not so good season when you post their point totals.
Thank you!

I definitely can go back and include this information however keep in mind some of the older Prospects the information you're asking for may not be available but I will add prospects teams and standings information to answer that question.

I definitely can go back and include this information however keep in mind some of the older Prospects the information you're asking for may not be available but I will add prospects teams and standings information to answer that question.

I appreciate the list however Im not sure that listing standings brings any relevance to the conversation.

Individual player stats seemed to be the suggestion that was offered (and It was a good one).

Also, you're missing Josh Barnes (02), Brody Waters (02) and can probably delete Nolan Seed (02), as he's not a prospect anymore.

Barnes and Waters have been removed due to this season's past priority selection where management had mentioned "Both Josh and Brody have chosen to go the NCAA route this fall. Because the simple fact that the likelihood of seeing both Barnes and Waters is less likely this season in camp I chose to remove the NCAA commits from the list as there will likely not report to camp in a few weeks and were not in attendance during the team's annual awards BBQ this June.

What was suggested was not the player stats themselves but the team stats of where the players played last season.

(Below is the quote of what was asked to add by another poster)

"Is there a way you can tell us readers what team and league these players are coming from?
Then we can understand if they had a good season or a not so good season when you post their point totals.
Thank you!"

I don't remember management ever saying Brody was going NCAA, a poster did, but he has yet to commit. Besides, if that's the standard, you have 4/5 other NCAA committed guys on the list.

I think what the posters where asking for was updated locations and stats of the players.

The message I was trying to convey might show us a "stat line" of each player similar to;

02 Paul Blart / LW - 6'2" - 195 lbs / 17 + 34 = 51 / M. Midget Markham Majors AAA

02 Roman Polanski / C - 5' 6" - 155 lbs / 19 + 47 = 66 / U18 Landshut GER Tier IV

If we see the chart similar to this it will help us understand more about each player.
The player from M. Midget in Markham had a nice season in AAA.
The player from the German League might not be a great pick considering he played in the IV Division.
It's no big deal but I think some readers are mislead by only the "numbers" of young hockey players. The league and caliber of talent can actually mean a lot to determine if a certain player can take the next step up in development. (and to play in the OHL, multiple steps up are needed many times)

That's what I would think as well. Just a link to the elite prospect profiles would make sense.

I would personally either include or exclude NCAA players, not only take out certain players. Perhaps organize them by NCAA and NON NCAA. Plus, I wouldn't close the door on them just because they are NCAA guys, Daniel Milne turned out pretty good at the Bayshore and he played in Michigan. Odds are against it, but never say never.

You can probably delete Andrew MacLean in addition to Nolan Seed for obvious reasons.

Keep in mind that I threw the table together in very short order so I have to go back an update the chart to reflect prospects from signed players. I will go and add an updated table of prospects. I had just removed NCAA commits thus far. Plus will have to free agent invites that come to camp as well.

NCAA Commits (they should still be included in my opinion)
Artem Shlaine 2019 3rd Shattuck-St. Mary’s Sabres Prep 6’1 162 C
Gibson Homer 2019 4th Fox Motors HC 16U 6’4 185 G
Josh Barnes 2018 2nd Cornwall Colts 5’10 155 C
Jack Agnew 2017 6th Mississauga Senators 5’10 177 D
Tanner Latsch 2018 7th Honeybaked U16 6’1 178 C
Max Bronstine 2018 8th Mississauga Rebels 5’9 130 D
Dylan Wendt 2017 5th Detroit Belle Tire 5’11 175 RW

Waters doesn't have a commit so, its premature to delete him.

Josh Samanski is a free agent to add

Its a really good idea, just needs updating

I was at the draft and DeGray said that Waters was considering NCAA route and that he wouldn't pursue him any further when asked at this past draft. I can go back and add the NCAA commits if you're interested in me adding them.

I just didn't understand why you only took out 2 NCAA guys when there are 7 or so is all, especially given one isn't committed anywhere. Logically if they are on the Attack's reserve list, they should be listed here, no?

Its really not that big of a deal either way, the player stats that OHL Insideout mentioned is probably a very good idea.

Yeah I'll try and add info based off what posters ask.

Id wait until after camp rosters are announced, Id bet alot of those 01s are no longer in the system.

I will be doing updates during training camp sessions as there will be usually a number of free agent invites coming to camp.

The issue with free agent invites isn't adding them to the thread but how many will and probably walk or be cut from camp after the first 2 days. I do agree the 01' draft class wasn't spectacular when they came in the first time although if we never accounted for them the late round picks like Sean Durzi would've never got a sniff at the "O".

I will continue to update during training camp during the camp sessions for that week.
