Tough one. I guess I'd go with the McDavid trio by the simplest justification that you always go with the best player.

OV is better than Benn and Kucherov is better than Laine but I wouldn't be surprised to see Kuch vs. Laine to come much closer in the upcoming years.

I wouldn't call Benn a shooter. He's a fairly rounded offensive player. And McDavid had 11 more assists than Kuznetsov. The fact that McDavid also scores lots of goals doesn't mean he isn't passing it just as much.
