So Ovi and Geno were picked 1st and 2nd overall in 2004 draft and Connor and Jack were picked 1st and 2nd overall in 2015 draft. Which of these two drafts does have better top2 picks, given all players are at their best?

We don't know McDavid and Eichel's best yet and both Ovechkin and Malkin peaked higher than what the 2015 duo has accomplished so far. I don't know how you don't vote for the Russians.

Ovi and Malkin have accomplished a lot more than McDavid and Eichel. I'm curious if this view will change a decade from now.

I think McDavid could end up the better player here - and unless of a huge shocker should at least be in same tier as Ovechkin. But unless Eichel has a huge surge, he won't come close to Malkin
