Hopefully I'm not the only weirdo who howls to goals on TV.

You are not alone.

Last night was "Coyotes Night" at the Dbacks game. Doan and Smith were there; did batting practice, Doan threw out the first pitch, and both were interviewed during the game. They even used the goal horn, howl, and played "Baby I'm Howlin' for You" when the Dbacks hit home runs. It sounded really cool. Smith was able to put one into the leftfield bullpen. Doan tossed a strike for the first pitch and said the only excuse you can use to get out of a fight in hockey is to say "My coach wants me on the ice."

We also chant, "He shoots! He scores! Hey goalie... YOU SUCK!" after every Coyotes goal.

Please stop. That belongs at an ECHL game.

I consider it a local tradition. Was very popular at the Roadrunner games before the Yotes came to town.
