I wouldn't get too excited. Nashville made series go to 6 under Trotz, but the lack of goal scoring caught up with them. Without last change, and refs not calling PPs, I doubt they can suffocate Pittsburgh forever.

Pens can still come back, but they are 3 times more talented yet they are losing the series by 2 games.

Pens are top heavy. Islanders bottom 10 players are far better than Pitts. Faster and more physical too.

Sid, Malkin, Kessel, then it a major drop off.

Fair, but it is also a fact that prior Trotz teams with similar talent levels were able to take 2 games but ultimately lose the series.

Although I can't say that we would be leading the series 2-0 too, the Isles are not even close to the Pens talent wise and look at them now.

They have bought into what Trotz wants them to do, they are all on the same page and they have some decent talent as well.
