As a fan, it's hard not to be proud of what the Devils have been able to do so far this season (at least for the most part; there are some rough patches, but things are going so much better than last season, what a world of difference between the two!).

Good to see Philly lose late and not get a point, but that Gostisbehere is a player.
A tremendous find by their scouts.

As I said the other day. I don't think he was a bad player at all, his contract just sucks.

Holmgren shouldn't have given him $5.5 million per year for 5 years at 33 years old, just fresh off a buyout from Tampa. The guy is probably one of the highest paid players in the league right now because of that. Between the money he's making from Tampa and on the current contract.

If he was given those dollars, it shouldn't have been for that term. Just another classic Holmgren special that we've seen so many times before he was removed from the GM position.

I think he has another year or two left in him as a decent player, that contract just sucks.

But I don't really think Boston is a better team than us. If they are a better team, it isn't by much.

I'm very surprised they're in a playoff spot and have been for all but the first few weeks of the season. I really thought they'd would be less than a bubble team.

As much as we laugh at Claude, I'd be completely alright with him winning the Jack Adams if they make the playoffs.
