I expected Vancouver to lose this game.

I just didn't think it would be after getting Ward pulled, blowing a 5-2 lead and losing 8-6 with Leighton in there.

If this doesn't get Willie fired, he's probably there the rest of the season. Not firing Willie will go against everything stupid Benning is trying to do. You either keep him and acknowledge you're gonna rebuild or you can him and compete. I think it's time to blow it up, take a nuclear missile to that out of control eruption. It's raining ash in my yard all the way down here from the Vancouver volcano.

I'm surprised they have as many points as they do. I can't even take Mike Babcock seriously anymore after seeing him sign with that team, when like 15-20 other teams wanted him. Toronto is where coaches go to die pretty much.

Carlyle resurfaced but do you really think any team other than his buddies in Anaheim would have hired him to be an NHL head coach again?

I feel bad for Luongo, Florida is a gong show right now. The fact that they beat the Canucks should only further hurt Willie's case for keeping his job.

It feels like when Horachek stepped into the Laffs, when they were above .500 and imploded something fierce down the stretch.

And LOL @ Jake Allen.

ONLY the Devils constantly can't score on him and make him look good. I wonder if when Yeo takes over next year, if they'll have as strong of a system there where they can still be a great team with mediocre goaltending.

I hate to say it.... but I think the Oilers might wind up not making the playoffs after all.

It seems like they've been winning about as much as us lately, after their really hot start.

And Todd McLellan has the dumbest hair cut of any head coach in the league. At least Capuano's is actually funny looking. Peters from Carolina has a pretty brutal one when it grows out a bit too. Looks like a haircut that an elementary school aged boy would have. T Mac's is very similar.

I'm sure a lot of us male's here have at least one yearbook portrait where we had a similar hair cut in elementary school. Then we (or at least I) look back and wonder why our parents got us such a goofy looking hair cut.

Oilers have definitely cooled off. They simply do not have the defense or goaltending to keep up the pace they started with.

They are also missing Hall more then they thought. Their ES scoring is down across the board. McDavid can't do it all by himself.

Do they even have a shot on goal this period, maybe with this PP they've finally gotten one. Shots were 12-0 CBJ in the period more than halfway into it.

Calgary has also gotten hot as of late, but is it really sustainable to get that kind of goaltending out of career backup Johnson for the entire season?

The only backup that's been able to sustain that pace over a season is Brian Elliott!
