Our scoring system

I'm kind of curious what you guys think of our scoring system. I adopted this from a magazine about 10 years ago and altered it to try to balance the positions:

FORWARDS (6 active)
Goals = 3
Assists = 2
+/- = actual value

DEFENCEMEN (4 active)
Goals = 5
Assists = 3
+/- = actual value

GOALIES (2 active)
Shutouts = 5
Wins = 5

GOONS (2 active)
Penalty minute = 1
+/- = actual value

We've used it for a few years, and good defencemen and goalies tend to go early, which I think is fine.

So 14 active spots, 22 rounds total. Eight reserves can be any combination of the above.
