With the late surge in Calgary, here's hoping we get on a bit of a roll here.

The next 5 games we have the following:

Columbus
Florida
Chicago
Nashville
Columbus

Can we turn the ship around?

-Historically we own Columbus.

-Florida should be 2 points.

-We always play well against the Hawks.

-Nashville... meh.

I'm expecting 3-1-1.

Let's do this.

Hope I didn't jinx anything.... :help:

Chicago will own us, Columbus is good enough to take it to us, but it'd be close, Nashville we should definitely beat them, along with Florida.

Most likely to go 2-2-1

5-0-0 or bust!

In all seriousness, at least some more complete efforts and for the love of the Spaghetti Monster, some GOALS. This team needs to find some scoring mojo.

If the oilers want to retain any interest at all from their fans they have to do well in all of those games except the Hawks game who are just a better team by a lot. If they do poorly vs the other teams then there really is no hope at all for anything of entertainment value this year.

The oilers usually play quite well against the hawks. They could win that game

Going 3-1-1 would leave them at 8-16-3 and not even close to turning the season around...

They need to go 5-0-0 which would put them at 10-15-2, or at worst they can go 4-1-0 meaning 9-16-2.

Can they do it? Doubt it...

who knows with this team.... we could go 4-1, and it wouldn't be shocking really... we could also go 0-5 and i wouldn't be surprised

zero consistency with this team from shift to shift, let alone from game to game

The best chance could strangely be Chicago, if they comes in on 1 skate and half speed.

Cbj can beat any team and arent a soft playing joke anymore.

Fla and thomas can ride on a winning wave and need wins as badly as us. The Huberdeau line has been pretty good offensively almost every game.

Nash are a bit up and down(mostly down) but pulled a strong 6-2 win a couple of days ago. SHEA WEBER!

1 win and a losers point is what we can expect at the moment!

The next 5 games we have the following:

Columbus - close game
Florida - should win
Chicago - should lose
Nashville - close game
Columbus - close game

of the 3 close games we will either win 2 or lose 2.

so 3-2 or 2-3.

?

We haven't won all season. What changed?

The 12 mins we played against Calgary (the other worst team in the league?)

My optimistic prediction is:
1-3-1

But I'm REALLY expecting 0-5

There is no turning this season around. I will enjoy watching as many wins as I can though. Even if the Oilers were solid from the beginning, look how tough getting a western playoff spot is.

Well, we won our last game, so I would say we go 0-5-0

Third period vs the Flames, we got a glimpse of last year's Taylor Hall. Hope he shows up more consistently.

I didn't check the math but I thought I read that the Oilers could win 11 straight games and still be 10 points out of a playoff spot.

Keep in mind Colorado is currently 8th.
