This has to be the sens' best seasons for rookies...Stone and Hoffman have been good all season but recently those two and Hammond (if he counts) have all been the driving force behind the sens resurgence.

If it wasn`t Stone, it would be Hammond.
If it wasn`t Hammond it would be Hoffman
If it wasn`t Hoffman it would be Pageau
If it wasn`t Pageau it would be Boroweicki
If it wasn`t Boroweicki it would be Lazar.

All in all Curtis Lazar has had the weakest rookie season of the 6.

My post was to be a fun way of chest beating.

If Lazar is the "weakest" .... you have an outstanding group. I am not sure why this hasn't been a topic at NHL.com or TSN/Sportnet.

This is an amazing achievement. The players and the management deserved cudo's for making this happen.

haha ok i was kind of thinking you were somewhat joking.

ya, its why i have a lot of faith in this core going forward. the team has gotten so good when the rookies are the ones taking on bigger roles

Yep, that's about right. :handclap:

Forget about Hoffman vs Stone, a better question would be Ryan vs Stone

Seriously Stone is THAT good

Agree & I have been saying it for a while now. Six rookies all playing really well for the Sens & we can add a few other young guys playing well in Zibanejad, Wiercioch & Ceci although they have also had some tough games. Future looks bright if they can all keep it up yr after yr.

We've had the best prospect development in the NHL in the last 5 years. It's really something to see how good our young guys are doing.
