As part of our 25th anniversary season!

It's been quietly discussed for months now, but I looks like it's far closer to reality than rumor at this point:

I imagine it will be against the Leafs (since it will be their 100th anniversary that year). Bring on that sweet new Heritage Classic jersey!

I dunno how I feel about the leafs this is suppose to be our event, but if its something this big involving the leafs I can see it being a 70 - 30 in favour of the leafs. Habs at least give us a chance for 50-50

Leafs got the Winter Classic against the Rangers. So it won't be them.

This needs to be done and to sell the seats in opposing sections. Leafs fans on one side, Sens fans on the other.
Just need to decide whether Sens fans will be on North side or South side.

It's going to be a home town sell out no matter who we play, so I'd rather not vs Leafs/Habs for obvious reasons. Why not our expansion brothers Tampa Bay? It's their 25 year as well and there's no way they're having an outdoor game at home.

I'm down. It would be nice not have a memorable moment for the city be crashed by opposition fans, but I think they care about ticket prices more. Leafs and Habs fans will be willing to dish out a lot to go.

Jan 2017 I think. It's the leafs 100th season next season (and 50th anniversary of their last cup which is hilarious)

I've heard December 2017 for two reasons:

-100th anniversary of the opening night of the NHL when Montreal and Ottawa played
-If they can't get the Parliament Hill game they will take Landsdowne with the expanded seating from the Grey Cup in November 2017 still up

YOW
it'll be against montreal. i'm pretty sure sens brass has stated they want it against montreal. Expect a lot of montreal winter carnival and silver seven lore.

I want a crowd of fans in togas, and a roman centurion parachuting into the middle of Landsdowne.

...I seem to recall Los Angeles hosting an outdoor game. Tampa can't be any hotter or more humid than LA.
