To Ottawa: PK Subban

New Jersey takes on $10M in salary, but can spread it out over 2 years, or flip him after the first season.
Ottawa takes on $9M, but has to pay it all out next season. In exchange, they get flexibility in 22/23.

Subban plays second pair in NJ and when he plays conservatively he is fine. NJ has no replacement for him should they trade him. NJ has no cap issues and won’t dump him. PK proposals are always ill conceived.

Any appetite for Andreas Johnsson? Once his bonus is paid this summer, his remaining real dollars are pretty small compared to his cap hit.
