Considering we're essentially getting something for nothing, and that something can actually contribute on our third line, I think this is a really good deal if it comes to fruition.

I like Greening. More a tweener than a top 6, but has some upside and good size. Would be a pretty passable return for Blum.

Would be a replacement for one of Yip, Halischuk, and/or Mueller. Definite upgrade. Blum is not in our plans moving forward, win-win scenario...

Yeh he is a big 3rd line winger. Put up 17 goals 2 years ago and was on pace for 16 in the shortened season.

Great return for Blum, and better than Yip, Mueller, and Hali. Sold. Hope it happens...

I'd be all over this. I liked Blum at first but the fact is he never developed for us. If he's gone, I wish him the best of luck, but I think we win this trade. If true.

Don't think there is anything to these reports Colin Greening is going to Nashville. Two sides discussed an extension Sunday. #Sens Expand

Interesting, but Greening is signed for next season already. We did same with Craig Smith, but don't buy it happening in the middle of the draft to be honest...
thought that was weird too. who talks extension during a draft lol

Yes, both were funny for opposite reasons.

Is he even in the KHL yet or just close to signing there? Greening is being mentioned a lot so if we have to trade him for whatever reason, I'd rather take a risk on SK than go for a bottom-pairing D. I just threw out names though so there's 0% chance of that happening.

I know we're not getting Hornqvist. :sarcasm:

No, he's not actually there yet, we just largely assume because he doesn't want to be here. At least I don't think he's there. I guess we could theoretically trade him away.
