they picked apart the Leafs' fancy plays and hounded them hard.

Im not sure how Thornton is gonna play with Matthews and Marner. A few times he sent the puck in for matthews to get it and Matthews let up on the forecheck. Jumbo is used to playing with guys (Hertl, Sorensen, Melker) who go hard in the corners and retrieve

To make myself feel better, I’m going to assume the Sharks would’ve gone off the board and drafted someone I’d never heard of at the time (Mueller, Hertl, Timo, etc.), as opposed to the consensus BPA.
