That's way more than 10 years ago, looks more like 20 years ago to me. Brutal list though, but scouting is much better now.

Nick Gordon was the other one I forgot to list. Pedigree.

Fit for Cubs: The Cubs may be keen on taking a college position player if they don't go with a pitcher at No. 4, though Gordon is an elite talent with a fantastic pedigree — his father, Tom, pitched 21 years in the majors (including one year with the Cubs) and his brother, Dee, currently leads baseball with 35 stolen bases for the Dodgers. Middle infield talent isn't easy to come across, either, which is why Gordon could be a fit for not only the Cubs, but any other team.

Baez may or may not be able to stick at SS.
