It is quite funny about the finger being slashed off, the Vegas supporters were crying a mighty river about Orpik hitting Haula at the final buzzer of game 2. Haula received a major and game misconduct for slashing.

The video everyone posted showed Haula making a round house swing at Orpik, making contact with his glove or butt end but mostly clipping the referee with his stick. People did not think that was any contact of consequence.

Reviewing the game, it turns out Haula took a piece of Orpik's finger off with a slash behind the net seconds before the end of the game.

This was the reason Orpik gave Haula a hit into the boards after time ran out.

What's funny is that all the Caps fans whining about these plays will look back at game re-runs and notice a bunch of nothing. It is simply back and forth shots that each team takes at the other.

I count 5. How many did he have before?

Orpik in the off-season when he went to get his custom hockey stick, he was only going to pay 1/10 the price

He should have hit him harder. Haula is a punk.

What's even more funny is their player is the one who broke a jaw and took 5 steps to hit March late in the SCF and probably gave him a concussion. Anytime the Caps were up they were angels. Anytime they got down in a game, Wilson and Oshie came out running around like dummies trying to injure people.

Let's be clear, his finger was not cut off... the skin on the tip of his finger was crushed and avulsed, ie pulled off the underlying tissue. The stuff they reattached probably wont take.

If he had required a true reattachment procedure, with severed arteries and veins being repaired, there is no way hed have been bandaged up and sent back to the ice

The fact I have no idea who you are talking about because that fits nobody on the team.
