I went Rangers again, but Colorado and Detroit are tempting.

Also, just a reminder, if anyone is able to track down the 2017 or 2016 version of this, please let me know. I will add them to the table so we can see how teams have moved up or down.

I didn't think Philly would fall out of the top 5. I had it as some combination of NYR, Carolina, Vancouver, Buffalo and Philly, with NYI and Colorado just on the outside.

Seems like the top 7 or 8 will be consensus on everyone's list. Haven't seen a team come out of no where and make a push for a spot we weren't all expecting.

Once again went with the best top 5, which for me was NYR. STL, PHI and WPG were close for me and are probably next up!

Winnipeg? Before Detroit, Vegas, Colorado, etc?
Yes. What Vesalainen, Appleton and Niku did this season was really impressive and put the three of them in a top class of prospect. I don't see 3 prospects of that caliber in the top 5 for Detroit, Vegas and Colorado, but that might be my personal belief.

For me, prospects with at least the quality of WPG's 3 (some are better) would be:
COL - Makar, Timmins (I don't think highly of the other 3)
DET - Zadina (Don't believe the other have top line/pair upside)
Vegas - Glass, Suzuki (I know a lot of people are high on Brannstrom, I'm not)

To each his own, I guess. I am not sure how you can say you think Niku and Appleton are special, and then write off Rasmussen, Hronek and Brannstrom. I would take those 3 over Niku or Appleton, and I think a lot of people would agree. Not to mention I would take Zadina and Glass over Vesalainen.

Zadina just went 6th in our HFBoards poll, and Glass went 16th. Vesalainen will come in somewhere around 25.

I am not trying to put down your prospects, but I think you have some tunnel vision right now. IMO the Jets farm shouldn't crack the top 10, possibly top 15. To have them at 6 is very....ambitious.

Winnipeg probably isn’t even top 10. Detroit, Colorado, and the 3 teams you listed are all ahead of them.

Jets just graduated Ehlers, Laine, Connor, etc. so it’s nithing to feel bad about.

If you go read again, I did say some are better prospect than the one Jets have, I was clearly referencing Zadina, Makar and Glass, don't know what you're trying to say here, I didn't say Vesalainen was better?

I had Vesalainen ranked higher than Rasmussen, one of the player with the most polarizing opinion on this board. I'm part of the people believing Rasmussen has a low ceiling, high floor and will be a middle-six PP specialist around the net, no more.

I must admit I'm not too familiar with Hronek honestly, but I do know his AHL season wasn't on Niku's level.

I haven't been a fan of Brannstrom since his draft year. Like I said, this is personal preference, I know some people are high on him, I'm just not.

The point stands I believe NYR, STL and PHI have better prospect pools than the Jets. I mean isn't the goal of this post to see diverging opinion on prospect pools to then create a consensus or to take a preestablish consensus about individual players and then impose that consensus on people with different opinion? Because the way you're pointing out previous ranking just make the current exercice useless to me.

Plus, if (or rather when) Colorado, Detroit and Vegas will be voted better I won't be mad or think they don't deserve it, they're probably close and the next up in my mind, they have great prospects.
