Optics of Sabres Canes game

The one they are playing for Kraft hockeyville, is it because the cameras are closer to the ice? It looks fantastic, it's not shadowy or dark, it looks great on NBCSN. I wish more games looked like this. Is it just me?

Yeah the view definitely was fine after watching for a few minutes. Would enjoy it if it was like that more often.

It was something of a chore to watch but given that it was a special occasion, I actually enjoyed the different perspective. The best part, though, was the audio. It sounded like being at a game.
