Oldest Standing Member on HFboards?

I'm trying to remember the message board I used before these. I think it was something like "Along the boards" but I'm not sure. I know Hans from the minor league boards here was a frequent poster and had his minor league team and attendance updates there.

I joined O&B back in 2003 and still check in, though it's pretty quiet now. I found hfboards in 2005, but I never scrolled down enough to find the Flyers forum. I got scared away by what I saw in Trade Proposals and other places. Once I finally noticed a Flyers specific forum, I started reading regularly.

I have been around since before the Lindros to NYR trade. I got into wild debates with the Blue Skirt faithful about what the Flyears would get back. I was right on the players and picks (I missed a 3rd rounder or something). They had a poster named Homer Jones who congratulated me for being right (unusual for a Rags fan). I don't know if anyone has been here longer. Most of the old crew is gone. Go Kim Jonsson (part of that trade) GKJ as he is known now has been around a while too.

Philadelphiaflyers.com used to have a message board on their website I believe. That's where I used to post before here.

Bill is a great guy. I got to know him on this board and O&B (and the alt.hockey usenet group. He used to write the game reports, then carried on when Mike Barr started the O&B board. Met up with Bill and Dave Kilgore in Philly in '98. He started writing some freelance articles, and has finally made it as a writer for the Flyers and the Alumni, along with Hockeybuzz and other gigs. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I think Gee Wally gots us both-- as I recall he was the first one the brothers recruited when they founded the board
