It's honestly beyond messed up how many people are openly celebrating this like it's payback for moving a damn sports team, seriously, get a life.

I agree that people shouldn't cheer his death, but the guy was a complete ******* even if he was never involved with the Sonics.

It's an obvious suicide at this point. leave the money to the family, lived a long enough life.

Unlikely he would have ever seen a jail cell however.

He was facing up to 10 years in jail per count on multiple counts and the feds were more than prepared to take him to court, and they don't usually go that far unless they have a bulletproof case. Most federal cases end in pleas bargains or have investigations dragged out forever because of how selective they are.

He probably knew that he was ****ed and would see a jail cell for a long time and that even a plea bargain wouldn't have helped much.

Eh he would have assembled a helluva legal team.

There were a few of them who were openly celebrating the tornado that ripped through the city 3 years ago. The storm killed numerous people including children in a school.

Sucks to hear. It's too bad he felt the nees to do that.

Seattle fans were done wrong with the Sonics, but they need to stop acting like everyone involved with the Thunder are the problem. Your local gov't sold the last year's of the lease off instead of fighting for their team, like KJ did in Sacramento. Blame them, not Okc.
