Why did we ever obtain him? Still wondering about that one.

Genius of Chia I guess..:sarcasm:

I wonder what I said about this useless player all along.;)

Wow, that's a surprise on me. I thought he'd be a natural fit to mentor Puljujarvi.

However, even if no bigger move comes, it makes sense. He was destined for the press box anyway with Hendricks, Letestu, Kassian, Lander, Pakarinen, Sallinen, Pitlick and Khaira fighting for three spots.

I think you're being harsh.

He had some good moments here. Maybe not as many as we would have liked, but he wasn't complete trash.

He's just very expensive for a 4th liner and he's clearly running out of road.

I'll give you this one for sure...haha. I thought, "what could it hurt"? Bad deal for sure.

No it wouldn't. If we aren't going to do anything with the immediate cap savings then we're just taking on a cap hit next year for no reason at all.

We either need to use this money for something else or we should have just let the contract ride out.

Just an awful player possession-wise and really just disappeared a lot.

Chiarelli makes a good move. Wasn't sure if he was capable.

Bringing in Eriksson as a mentor for the kids is better than Korpisolo mentoring Pulju. Thank god this selfish player is bought out

So two million in savings this year at the expense of one million sunk next season.

I'm surprised if only because he seemed like a natural fit to be a fellow countryman/translator for Puljujarvi. But I suppose a full time translator would probably cost quite a bit less. And we've still got Pak.

As a player though, Korpikoski was awful. Wont be sad to see him go.

But Korpikoski was named to Team Finland, he must be good. Puljajarvi, please don't request a trade

Keep in mind Puljujarvi is also partly Swedish. I believe he was born there and has Swedish family. We have plenty of Swedes to make him comfortable and Pakarinen. Maybe we sign Ramo? :naughty:
