I think more than anything this team just looks stale, and those two in the lineup might just be the injection of enthusiasm the team needs to take 2 points from a team that despite their 3 game win streak still has the worst home record in the NHL.

Its pretty sad that they a need a reason to play hard. The fact they are still not really out of the playoff race yet should be reason enough.

Gotta agree here, Nilsson didn't earn a back to back start.

IMO I don't think Nilsson deserves a start until we play on back to back nights. Being absolutely terrible in 6-7 straight games means you don't play until absolutely necessary IMO. His game against Arizona was Dubnykesque. Unable to track the puck, easy goals from the point, failed to cover a loose puck right in front of him leading to a goal, etc.

When Talbot went cold he was parked for while to find his game, now the same has to be done for Nilsson.
