It's pretty rare is it for refs to give a deuce of two-man advantages to one team in a period. That's goes to show that LA weren't playing tough hockey but being cheap shot goons. Refs missed a lot of calls but I'm glad they sent a message to them to quite the BS or you're going to pay for it
Saw it the same way. But it also sends things off the rails. Till that point the Kings were still interested in trying to play some hockey. After that the only thing they wanted is chasing hits. The 5 on 3 helped to lose control of the game.
One thing though is the Kings are good at sending messages that they are so inept they can't even compete. They pulled the same thing a couple yrs ago losing games 8-2 and 6-1. When the Kings decide to go south in a game they do it up good and proper.
Haven't seen the last of them yet. Not sure if game 4 or 5 but they'll still have a pushback game that will challenge. Oilers have to be aware this time not to get overconfident with the blowout.
One more time the Hyman goal was so huge last night and he was refusing to be stopped, just like Drai and McD later. Hyman is better than any Leaf player on their roster. lets be real here. He's not just getting feeds anymore. He's become a power forward that is going to the net himself and bulling for goals. He's doing this increasingly where he's starting the play and scoring the goal. He made the whole goal happen with an assist from Doughty. Slow clap man. What a player. Was giving me Glenn Anderson vibes all game.
Hyman is stiring the damn drink right now. He's playing that good and nobody in the playoffs is more pumped than him. 6 goals, all deserved, could even be more.
