Hall- I was on the fence, as Seguin was a centre. When I saw Oil Change the day before the draft and I knew Hall was the one for us.
RNH - I got to see him play in Red Deer a few games and hoped we would get him. We lucked out in my opinion.
Yak - Although the team needed defence, you always pick the better player. I have and will continue to be a big fan of his.
Nurse - I only had eyes for Nurse.
Draisaitl - I wanted Ekblad and felt we should have traded up to get him.
