It was a conditional 7th next year. No reports anywhere on what the condition is, so it may not even transfer.

The condition was if the 13th bird flew over the 13th skyscraper in Edmonton on the 13th month of the 13th year during a blood moon.

Wouldn't mind keeping Rattie on a two-way deal or something to help with the kids down in the AHL and fill in for injuries, but the others are absolute garbage.

Holland doesn't do younger.

That said, I like Rattie as a 13th forward injury replacement AHL vet.

Good journeyman.
??? Yeah because he hasn't guys like Mantha, Athanasiou and Bertuzzi never played on his teams, and just look at Dylan Larkin, didn't play as a young player.

He doesn't play players who aren't effective (for the most part) so Rattie won't be re-signed.

I think this is the point with Holland. He not going to pencil a kid into the lineup. But if he earns it, then he'll get the spot.

Ideally you'd see Holland sign a couple guys to one year deals. Then as the year goes on, those guys transition into the best of Benson, Marody, Yamamoto, Jones, Bear, Bouchard, Lagesson, and Persson.
