Really? Baffling? He is on pace for 14 goals. Has 2 points in the last 5 games. And is tied for being the highest paid player on the team. Sorry, but that's not acceptable to me. He had a chance to come through and end the losing streak on his penalty shot and failed. Elite players and star players score that goal.

As per usual once one guy on these forums gets into the dog house it is all about him to the exclusion of all else. The list is long.

It is fine being critical of Eberle but he does lead the team in scoring, he is -4 playing against tough opposition often. He's been not great this year but if you list the players in order of how they should be berated he is well down the list, especially if you are talking about salary. We have absolute scrubs making 4 to 4.5 million a year.

I think there is something wrong with Eberle, he hasn't looked like himself all year. I have no problem with his game other than he is softer than baby ****. But they can't all be Milan Lucic. If we didn't have so many other softies on this team fine. But we have way to many (Purcell, Schultz, Marancin, Petry, the list is long).

As for the game tonight St.Louis has not played well their last game(s). There is no way on God's Green Earth Hitchcock is going to allow the Blue's to lay an egg tonight. It's guns blazing on the Oilers. If we do not get stellar goaltending this could be as ugly or worse as the Chicago game.

Blues will win, 5-1 with stellar goaltending. We might get a goal off Perron's, Pinizotto's or Gazdic's arse as they are the only two who go to the net.

Blues win 9-2 if we get a Scrivens Special. We get the arse goal and the Blues let off the gas enough for Hall or RNH to pop one late in the game for our Patented "Push" when games no longer matter.
