Tampa Bay has been scouting the Kings as well. They had 3 scouts at a Kings game last Saturday. They don't play each other again this season. Tampa has two injuries to their D (Rutta & McDonagh). Maybe something around Martinez & Hutton for Cernak?

Bold move by Tampa downgrading their D at the deadline while also taking on money next season.

The 2nd becomes Tampa 1st if they reach the ECF and Miller plays in 50% of the games.

curious: does anyone know where scouts sit when they watch games? Is there some agreement between teams to give scouts a box/someplace decent to sit in visiting arenas or are teams just going to ticketmaster/stubhub and buying tickets like the rest of us peons?

Yeah what people need to realise is that certain scouts live in certain areas, so a lot of these twitters aren't accurately dictating which scouts are truly watching teams over and over. For example, there is a Habs scout with lives in Colorado and pretty much is at every single Avs game, but is there to watch other teams.

Not sure how it works in other Arenas but in AZ they sit up in the press area and are known to come down to the upper lower level as the game progresses.

The lists people post on twitter are the scouts in the press box/home team provided area. Teams have also been known to have scouts/execs just buy tickets so they can watch games in stealth mode and not tip folks off to whom they are scouting.

There was 3 from TB organization too for monday game between habs and Boston. Might have been same 3. Are they watching Colombus and Boston or scouting Montreal and Buffalo. I would go with the second option.
