At least we have a first round pick this year. It's nowhere close to as exciting as 2010, 2011.. but it will be better than last year, which really sucked.

Canucks offered the 6th, 24th and Shinkaruk for the #1 overall pick. Florida looks to hold on to it by the sounds of it.

I don't see it being as bad as everyone says. Eriksson to RW1, Smith RW2, we play whatever we can muster at RW3 until the trade deadline, and then grab a Glencross-type winger in a deal where the other team retains salary for us on the UFA they send our way for prospect/pick combo. It will be fine.
