Pretty solid list in regards to how the WHL guys are ranked. Still not a huge fan of Roy, but I've only actually seen him once this season and it wasn't even live.

Either way the WHL is pumping out some major talent for 2013....goalies, dmen and forwards.

I agree with Renegade, I think Roy is little high Klimchuk is a little low. As much as I like Lazar's overall game and Pulock's ability to control a game, I'd probably pick Shinkaruk first from the Dub. Not many players have hands or offensive instincts like he does. Otherwise, fantastic list and I look forward more good stuff from you guys.

Elias Lindholm is my favourite swede for this draft. Yet another of theese great centers from Brynäs, lateborn 1994 that is one of the absolute topplayers in Superelit right now. He had a very good Ivan Hlinka this year. Have a really good feeling about that player.

Gustav Possler a winger from Modo is also a interesting name,he is also a lateborn 1994, and one of the leading scorers in the Superelit.

It looks like a pretty good balance between CHL and American programs. Is it low on European prospects? I don't have a good grasp on their placement in the rankings this far out.

Good list, I don't get to see any of the ohl or the whl but I saw most of those guys at canada games. I like the way the q guys are ranked, duclair getting the ranking he deserves and fucale in the top 50

How I see it,

Ristolainen should be top 10.
Jones should be number 1. My opinion.
Domi and Forsberg are too high.
Shinkaruk should be above Lazar.
Rankin should be around 8-13.
Santini and Cammarata should be in the top 15.
Klimchuk and Dano should be a lot higher.
Savage should be in the 20s.

This is all my opinion.

I've been a big believer in this for a while now. Was very impressed with a lot of their talent at the Winter Games.

Lazar is a two way center that can really shoot the puck. He doesn't have the stickhandling skills as some of the others, but plays really well off of the puck. A really mature player and the type of player coaches love to have.

Barkov is elite in two-way game, he has amazing shot, he is very smooth at stickhandling the puck in the traffic. His best asset is definetly his two-way game which is great. Doing winning plays all the time, helps the defence with his great positioning. But i love his decision making with the puck. Does all the small things to help the defence and is good at releasing the pressure from own zone. His best ability at D is how he gives pressure with his large body to puck holder and give him very limited time and space with the puck.Not to forget his puck stealing ability which reminds from Datsyuk, so does his stickhandling in traffic. Don't know about lazar too much but Barkov has future selke or atleast nomination calibre of two way game added with his high end
Offensive skills.

Not comparing these players because i haven't seen Lazar Much. just described Barkov's 2-way game. I'd be happy if Barkov ends up as top 5 pick but has potential to be #1

Ristolainen should be in the 10-20 range at this point. He has serious problems with positioning and when he is pressured he can make stupid decisions with the puck.

Welcome ProScout, I see you took my advice and moved this from the "mock drafts" board. You also added Bowey to your list, I expect Bowey to start rising.

In my opinion, Ristolainen, Soberg, Cammarata, Dano and Brouillard should be higher. We could also add some players to the list; Jacob De la Rose, Alexander wennberg, Lucas Wallmark, Janathan Drouin, Juuso Ikonen, etc.
And I don't think Sorensen will dramaticly drop, his year is over, but he have an other year to prove himself.

I also think that Barkov should be AT LEAST top 3, he's a natural plekanec-Datsyuk style player with good offensive potential.

I highly doubt that only 3 swedes will go in the top-50, theres been talk about alot of good swedes for 2013. Alteast of Elias Lindholm, Andre Burakowsky and Jacob De la Rose I have heard great things about and obviously there are many others that will make the top-50.

Also atleast Juuso Ikonen (5'7) and Artturi Lehkonen (5'10) should be in the notables section for Finland. Ikonen is probably the most talented prospect from Finland in many years, only his size is a problem. He's a very dominant player in jr. A right now, also he was huge in Ivan Hlinka this year as an underager.

Lehkonen is slightly taller and I believe he is still growing. He's got a very good 2-way game and has a knack for scoring goals, hes very smart etc... While physically he's still very lean, he's pretty balanced and plays a very mature game. The best forward for his Jr. A team TPS while being 1-4 years younger than everyone else. Also played a big role in Ivan Hlinka this year as an underager.

Obviously these early lists have a huge CHL bias since scouts may not have seen many of the Euro players

And Husso seems to be the most talented Finnish goalie since Rask. Lots of good Finns this year.

IMO Barkov, Ristolainen, Ikonen, Husso and Lehkonen should all be TOP 50 players

Lots of interesting prospects from Sweden, Elias lindholm, Nick Sörensen, Crus-Rydberg, Wallmark etc.

Gustav Possler is another player to watch.

Great list, to be honest I wouldnt be surprised to see Erne drop out of the 1st round, he did not impress me at all, very lazy. Also wondering about Drouin. I know failing to report to the Moose will hurt his chances but he was the 2nd overall pick in the Q and thats only because he was behind Mackinnon. Any chances he jumps into the top 30?

Excellent list. One player who intrigues me is Hudson Fasching. Curious to see if he'll be a climber over the next year.
