Thought it would be good to see predictions for this season and have them in a thread.

Here are some of mine:

Larkin scores more goals than DeBrincat, but DeBrincat leads PP goals.

Sprong ends the season as a top 6 winger and flirts with 30 goals.

Rasmussen scores 55 points.

Chairot gets benched or straight up sent to GR and terminated.

Lyon plays more than Reimer who both end with better GAA than Husso.

Lyon challenges Husso for the #1, takes over after the trade deadline.

Rasmussen hits 63 points.

Gostisbehere hits 60 points.

Chariot asks for a trade around Thanksgiving.

EDIT: Cossa becomes the best goalie in the AHL

DBC pushes and gets Larkin 90+ points, DBC gets 80+

DBC scores 45 to shut everyone up (please god)

Sprong flirts with 30 goals

Ghost traded by thanksgiving to make room for Ed, regardless of standings picture

DET brings Ed to sweden, possibly plays

Compher proves to be an extremely solid 2C, f*cks around and gets 50 points

Seider gets top 5 in norris

i'm boring this year and think I mostly agree with whatever the conventional wisdom is for the Wings and most teams

not Wings related but my most off the wall prediction is I think Columbus is a lot better this year than people think they will be, I don't think they quite make the Playoffs but I think they end up like 10 points off a wild card spot

Yeah, Cbus wasn't supposed to be as bad as they were last year. Similarly NJ wasn't supposed to be that good last year. They'll be closer together this season.

Larkin flirts with 90 pts
Ras flirts with 30 goals & ends up with DBC and Larks.
Seider makes people have Vladdy flashbacks and ends up top 3 in Norris votes.
Compher actually proves to be the 2nd C we hoped Copp would be.
Copp either gets moved to wing or ends up as the 4th C by the end of the season
Maata ends up as the traded D (boo)
It takes half a season for the Chiarot experiement to end. (Double boo)
Walman puts up more points than Ghost
Petry misses significant time and gets replace by Chia in the top 4.
Wings boast a top 10 pk but still struggle on the PP.
Reimer outplays Lyon and lyon eventually is waived.
Ray plays better but puts up 60 pts and is moved off the 1st line. (I expect his breakout next season)
Fabbri plays most of the season, Sprong does not despite a hot start making us wish he did.

Seider will have less points than last season and everyone is freaking out.
Defense will be one of the best in NHL.
In the end of the season Huso will not be our #1 goaltender.
Seider will have his first fight against one of the brothers

Hahaha on the Lyon thing. He is such a Hamburglar type goalie that will fade out very quickly. His stats weren't even that great, Florida just got hot and scored a bunch and he won.

Chiarot can ask for whatever he wants, nobody will want a guy who thinks he is Bobby Orr.

Florida
Tanguay stops bouncing Seider on then off the first pp unit.
Raymond remains on the first pp unit and nets 30+ goals this season.
Team stands pat at trade deadline, makes a push for a wildcard spot.

Joe Veleno plays all 82 games and scores 0 goals, but despite this, gritdash announces that Veleno is his new favourite player.

Seider scores more goals than Debrincat
Larkin 50 goals
