McIlrath won the round and Marek Hrivik is added to the poll.

Write who you want added to the poll, and give a reason for it. This makes the discussion better.

THE RULES

WHO IS A PROSPECT: http://www.hockeysfuture.com/whatmakesaprospect

HOW TO RANK PROSPECTS: Based on their value in a hypothetical trade or waiver draft. This takes into consideration a prospect's ceiling, how close he's to making it, his health, work ethic, the whole deal. Imagine there was a prospect waiver draft and you could keep only one prospect. That guy is our #1 prospect. Then imagine we had one more waiver protection. That guy is our #2 prospect.

Add Skapski who's doing great in Hartford.

Voted for Graves because he is getting great reports about him.

Went with Igor as it looks like he is starting to get chances playing for SKA St. Petersburg. Also looked good at the World Juniors.

Add Skapper.

FWIW, I think Shesty and Halverson have roughly equal upsides. However, if that's the case, I'm going with the NA guy every time. If all things are pretty much equal, that's an easy decision for me.

Shesterkin IMO has a much higher upside. Halverson's elite puck handling skills causes people to overrate him goaltending ability. I could care less if they can play the puck or not (see Lundqvist)

Haggerty really that low? I haven't followed his AHL season at all, but he looked good in preseason.

Hags 2.0 is God awful away from the puck. You think Kristo is bad, Haggerty has to improve a lot to catch up with Monte.

I went Hrivik because I feel he is most ready for NHL action, but upside probably would go with Shesty.

Add Skapski

Between Shesty and Graves. Shesty looked good in the WJC and has done well all around. Still, throwing in my vote for Graves because I think he's done incredibly well with the opportunities he has been given. Still a way to go to turn pro, but he has very good potential upside.

So:

Graves, add Skaps.

Since no one else is even nominating him I assume everyone sees Kristo as a bottom of the barrel prospect? Second year pro who had a very promising season last year should be in the top 10 with this prospect list.

Most don't believe he'll play in the NHL.
