Gauthier just can’t figure it out at the NHL level. Upside and tools are there to be an effective power forward, really strong skater. Hes normally the physically strongest player on the ice but he is soft as butter and never uses his strength. Struggles to finish

Very good speed. Big winger. Doesn’t always play to his size. He can’t really finish. He could fall off a boat and he wouldn’t hit the water.

hard worker/team guy, skates well. Just not the 4th line type of guy the Rangers need for the playoffs. Wasn't gonna play in the top 9 for the Rangers.
