Petan is one of the greatest Michigan Tech Huskies and pretty much a career AHLer.

Yeah but he was traded for a guy that most Rangers fans didn't even realize was under contract, LOL. I just looked and apparently we signed him to a two-year deal in 2022.

Why would the wild do this? Petan is 3 years younger and has better point production. I know its not all about points so maybe they felt he was a defensive liability.

What is a Turner Elson? Does he fight? Because otherwise, i don't get it.
Petan is an excellent offensive player at the AHL level. Just can't quite make it work in the NHL.
