“@NYRangers: OFFICIAL: #NYR have acquired goaltender Magnus Hellberg (@Mulle45) from Nashville in exchange for a 6th rd pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.”
Hellberg can be a group 6 next summer with a one year contract. If the Rangers can sign him to a 2 year contract with one way money in year 2 to be the backup to Hank,it could work.

My question is:
Why was he available? He's still young, promising. Why did they trade him for a 6th in 2 years? What's the catch? Is he going back to play in Europe?
