Arvidsson looked great for a few games than got injured again. Expiring contract, and he should be be around the deadline.

ESPN put a trade together for the Rangers and Ducks. I'm sure some saw, but wondering what Ducks fans might think.

Vatrano (25% retention)
Henrique (50% retention)

For

Goodrow
Sykora
2024 1st
Noah Laba
2026 3rd

Sykora is in the A and is a grinding but skilled forward as a 19 year old. Feels like he will at least be an NHL player, could be a middle 6 type. Laba is lesser known, but is hovering around a PPG in the NCAA for Colorado College in his 2nd season at 20 playing center.

Goodrow stinks. He's basically a PK specialist at this point in his career, but works hard and would be a good leader for a young Ducks team.

I'm not sure the Ducks would do this, but could see it happening. Goodrow is negative value for the deal. The 2024 1st is at best mid 20s and a future 3rd is one more roll of the dice.

Rangers fans don't really want to move Sykora, but the organization has a gluttony of wingers, but he's a different type than others.

From what I have read, Drury doesn't seem to have any interest in including Perrault in a deal. If I were Philly, I'd (understandably) want Perrault for Konecny. Add on that Philly would either need to retain salary or take a cap dump back (Goodrow) and I think fair market value for TK is more than the Rangers are looking to pay.

Personally, I don't think this team are true cup contenders unless Zibanejad gets his head out of his ass and Trouba is fired into the sun, so I'd just as soon try and bargain bin the deadline (i.e.: Duclair, maybe Kaliyev if LA is as down on him as they seem to be)

I'd consider something around Konecny & Laughton for Laf & Kakko.

way too much for goodrow and henrique. henrique is getting massively overvalued because of his production on a bad team. the rangers also need to be adding some pace to the roster in their deadline moves and henrique does the opposite of that. i like vatrano and would be happy to bring him back but i wouldn't overpay. he'd be a solid add at the right price, but there are other options out there.

anyone thinking goodrow gets moved this season is delusional. like it or not the entire org loves him and he's a big part of the locker room - a lot of people don't realize just how much goes on during a season that they don't see and how much that actually matters to the results on the ice. i don't see how he isn't moved out this summer, but i don't think there's even a remote possibility he's moved before the deadline either.

one of sykora, laba, or berard and a 1st in one of the next 3 years plus this years 2nd are likely the pieces the rangers move by the deadline. could see a scenario where 2 of those prospects or a 2nd 1st comes into play but i haven't seen any names in play nor do the rangers have the cap space required for any that could come into play to warrant that.

For most of Henrique’s career, he’s put up 40-50 points and 20+ goals. He’s simply having a typical Henrique season.

Target Granlund from SJ! 2nd on the team in points and can play both C and W. A very good passer and can play 2-way
