Nylander with awesome assist to Mathews

Battles two or three Flyers players behind the net with some nice one handed stickwork. Then passes it to Mathews with one hand. Guess no one is pushing Nylander around anymore.

It's nice work by Nylander but I wouldn't say it's so great that a whole thread should be started over it.

Or maybe it is because it is Nylander after all and we normally don't see this type of effort out of the guy.

That was basically just Matthews. Nylander had pretty much nothing to do with that. He was losing a battle behind the net and just poked the puck away. Matthews on the other hand could sense were the puck was going. It's like the puck just finds Matthews. He's scary good in situations like this.

Good rush with the puck & good effort.......but looks pretty clear to me it was just a blind pass out front hoping for anyone or deflection......he had no clue where AM exactly. Still good rush & effort.....not so much a awesome pass though. IMO
